The Good The Bad And The Zugly: Vik Bak Meg Satan // Secret Promo

Press assets: Waw SoundCloud Single cover (By Flu Hartberg) Band photo (By Ida Borsand) "Vik bak meg Satan" (Get behind me Satan) is the first single from Oslo-based five-piece The Good the Bad and the Zugly's third studio album, Misanthropical House. In line with the overall theme of the album, the track thematizes the bodily decay of an aging punk rocker. It can defintely be labeled "Thinking man's punk". The lyrics deal with an illness that one-third of the world's population can relate to, but no-one talks about. Taboos still exist! And so does punk rock. Truly the bastard child of the 90s scandic rock scene, The Good the Bad and the Zugly (or short: GBZ) carry the torch of Hellacopters, Turbonegro and Anal Babes and remind us of a time when punk rock was a promise of infantile nihilism and pure vicious fun! Just like the album, "Vik Bak Meg Satan" is mixed and produced by Anders Nordengen and written and recorded by the band at Top Room studio in Hadeland, Norway. The artwork is by norwegian illustrator Flu Hartberg. GBZ' third album, Misanthropical House, will materialize on Fysisk Format January 26th. Hires photo (By Ida Borsand)
