The work on the music for the album "The Sonic Experience - Snøhetta" began after a visit to the Snøhetta Pavilion in Dovrefjell. The breathtaking view of the mountain range and the sounds of nature became the starting point for a new artistic vision and musical concept. Saxophonist and composer Kristin Sevaldsen wanted to recreate the impressions from the magnificent nature through music, based on field recordings taken from the Snøhetta area, the highest mountain in the national sanctuary of Dovrefjell.
The music moves from melodic contemplation, ambient atmospheres and noise elements. The album has received critical acclaim both domestically and internationally.
