TAPE TRASH is the new project of Anders Magnor Killerud (Ludvig Moon, Kyss På Halsen, Team Me) and Kristofer Mathias Staxrud (Spielbergs, Hilma Nikolaisen, Ludvig Moon). In TAPE TRASH, they draw inspiration from the music they listened to when they first picked up their instruments as enthusiastic teenagers: Indie rock induced with infectious choruses, catchy guitar riffs and huge drums.

The band describes their music as rock for people who like pop and pop for people who like rock. They work with a «more is more» metality where anything goes. Pounding drums and a wall of guitars meet sweet pop melodies in a joyful mix between indie rock, punk, emo, dream pop and shoegaze. Thematically, the songs find themselves in a fine balance between ecstasy and panic.

On February 17, part 1 of the debut album TAPE TRASH 4-EVER will be released, in the form of the self-titled EP TAPE TRASH. The EP shows off the band's breadth, from punk anthem OLD HIGHS to the soft and melancholic JUSTINE; a new song that showcase what it's like wasting time in a small town during the summer holidays. The EP contains the singles NOT GOING HOME and OLD HIGHS which both charted on major national radio stations in Norway and received good reviews. These days the band is heading into the studio to record part 2 of the album to be called "4-EVER", before the debut album "TAPE TRASH 4-EVER" is released later this year.
